iMORPH is an audio/visual project, concentrating on chilled tracks, images and sounds, and creating relaxing environments for a busy world.
After decades in the music industry, I wanted to create my own sound, rather than compete with a growing number of niche genres. The project is also somewhere I can escape to, so this is also a very personal enterprise.
What genres of music do you cover>
The main genres I concentrate on are #Chill or #Chillout. This can cover a vast number of genres, namely #Ambient #Downtemo, but it must be easy to listen to. Something that can be listened to as background music, or added to a chilled playlist.
What were or are you influences?
I’ve been a fan of Chillout for a very long time, so apart from compilation album favourites, I’d say Brian Eno, Bonobo, Tycho have had an influence.
I also have a love for #Trip-hop, #Acid Jazz, #Classical and #Sci-fi, so I’m quite eclectic when it comes to music.
